Back and ready
I just want to inform all LIFXtend users that I am back, but I still don't have too much time to work on LIFXtend currently.
It seems LIFX is updating the Firmware for their bulbs (and they communicate through facebook... who does that?).
Anyways, as soon as I get my hands on the new firmware I will try to update LIFXtend to work with the new version, and maybe even implement new features if the firmware contains the bugfixes I am expecting.

Version 0.8 and not enough time
I had to pull version 0.8 shortly after release because I encountered some bugs that made it unusable. Still I hear some reports of users that use 0.8 without problems.
You can try it out yourself: http://www.striking.ch/upload/LIFX/LIFX08.zip.
If it doesn't work, just uninstall it with the windows uninstaller, then reinstall version 0.7.3
You could loose your savefile.
I will be traveling for the next three weeks, and while I will read my email it could take longer for me to respond. Also there will be no progress for LIFXtend in this time.

LIFXtend 0.8: LIF.luX
One of the most requested features (myself included) has always been something equivalent to f.lux. Even the official LIFX blog published a post not so long ago about how the perfect bulb should change it's color during the day.
If you don't know what I am talking about, check out their post: LIFX Blog
My implementation is pretty straight forward at the moment, but I am already planning some refinements.
You can specify bulbs which will change their color according to the time. You can set sunrise and sunset according to you location (found under the settings tab).
Your bulbs will be yellow/3000 kelvin before sunrise and after sunset. In between they will be a neutral white, or 6500 kelvin. The transition takes 30 minutes, and starts at the specified sunrise / sunset time.
LIFXtend can now also update itself, so if I publish new minor versions, they will automatically be installed.

Any feedback or bug reports as always appreciated!
