This was a test shooting for a mass shooting, themed "Titanic".
In two week we will start shooting 66 people, two on each picture, therefore 33 shots in total.
With that many pictures and a limited time frame, a green screen is not an option.
As much as possible has to be done and corrected for at the shooting itself.
We decided to use a projector to generate a backdrop that can be easily changed.
That generates a whole lot new problems, the dynamic range of the projected image is maybe 4 to 6 stops, which creates a pretty low contrast. Furthermore, the whitebalance is pretty tricky with the beamer and flashes.
The biggest problem however is the room, we are shooting on location, a studio was not an option.
We have pretty much straylight coming in from the camera right. And the natural light itself contributes to the whitebalance problems.
Luckily the pictures will be printed in black and white

Party with Mike
I have got lots to do right now, but no time for projects I can show you. I change the update-rate to 1 week.
But there is always time to party, and we had a nice one this weekend, when a friend of mine celebrated his new flat.
I concentrated on the party, not on the pictures, so don't expect a masterpieces of work
I also filmed a few minutes, maybe I have time to edit the clips together, we'll see.
