Today I got some new lenses. And I am feeling like a kid in Disney Land!
One of the new lenses is a macro lens, really nice for getting close-up shoots.
So, now I am running around with the lens like a kid, thinking: "Hmmm, what would that look like? Or that? Or yeah, the mice!"
I wasn't able to get any nice shoots from the mice yet, as they are pretty nervous and hard to light because they move around.
The biggest problem however is to get them in focus, as this lens has a very shallow depth of field, which means 1mm further away then the focal point the picture starts to get blurred.
Provides really nice effects, but is hard to focus on moving subjects up close.
So here are some tests I shoot in the hour after receiving the new lens. They definitely won't redefine photography, but I enjoyed taking them.
